Tolerating You Is A Choice...Loving You Is Not
Walking. Something we all take for granted at some point in our lives. I am a perfectly able person such as any on else. This week my Doctor has informed me that I must be in a wheelchair for 2 weeks. Most kids at my school are saying that they wish that they were in the wheelchair. I'd never really given much thought to how people in wheelchairs are treated but I can now say that it's horrible. People look at you weird and mumble things about you behind your back. One thing that I've realized is that my school isn't easily accessible for people in wheelchairs. So far I've gotten to see how it feels to have something as basic as breathing for me being taken away, and it's not that great.
